The Shimano Dura-Ace WH-R9370-C50-TL wheelset combines aerodynamic efficiency, low weight and responsive handling for riders who want performance across varied terrain. From demanding climbs to fast, rolling roads and confident descents, the C50 delivers a versatile balance of speed, stiffness and control.

Developed through five years of testing and collaboration with WorldTour riders and professional triathletes, Shimano’s Science of Speed approach treats each wheel as a complete system. Rims, carbon spokes, hubs and bearings work together to deliver performance in the changing conditions of real-world riding.

50mm Carbon Rims

The 50mm carbon rims balance aerodynamic performance with stability for cornering, sprinting and changing wind conditions. A 23mm internal rim width accommodates tyres from 28–45mm, with 28–30mm recommended for optimal performance.

The hooked, tubeless-ready construction gives you the flexibility to choose your preferred clincher or tubeless setup.

Carbon Spokes for Responsive Handling

Shimano’s aero carbon spokes are engineered to support lateral stiffness and responsive acceleration. With 21 spokes per wheel and an OPTBAL lacing pattern, the C50 is designed to feel composed through corners and direct when you increase the pace.

Smooth Running and Serviceable Hubs

Refined cup-and-cone bearings deliver smooth rotation with precise adjustment. Individually replaceable bearing components support long-term maintenance, while contact seals help protect the hub internals.

An HG L2 freehub body provides Shimano 12-speed compatibility, paired with Centerlock disc mounts and standard road thru-axle spacing.
