Clean and degrease your bike after a ride, and then use a good quality bicycle lube, and your bike will be all set for the next ride. Road bikes are best using a light Teflon or ceramic based lube, while mountain and BMX bikes are best using a heavier based wet lube, this will keep your bike chain and drivetrain in tip top condition.
