Bicycle Sales Advisor (Full Time – 40 Hours)

The Bicycle Lounge is one of the UK’s leading independent road cycling specialists, based in the heart of Ormskirk. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our friendly and passionate team.

If you’re an experienced road cyclist with a background or have pervious bicycle retail experience and enjoy helping customers find the perfect bike, equipment and accessories, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position where you’ll play a key role in delivering the outstanding customer experience that The Bicycle Lounge is known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising customers on premium road bikes, gravel bikes, clothing, components and accessories.
  • Assisting customers with bicycle servicing and repair enquiries.
  • Booking workshop services and repairs.
  • Managing stock and maintaining high standards of product presentation.
  • Providing exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone.
  • Supporting our social media activity and helping promote the business.
  • Working closely with the sales and workshop teams to ensure every customer receives first-class service.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in bicycle retail sales.
  • A genuine passion for road cycling and the cycling industry.
  • Strong knowledge of modern road bikes, components and equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • A confident, friendly and professional manner.
  • The ability to work as part of a small, successful team.
  • Good organizational skills with a reliable and proactive approach.
  • Basic IT and EPOS experience (knowledge of Ascend is advantageous but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills, including confidence using social media.
