We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to cancel an order or return/exchange items and therefore we have a straight-forward 30 day returns policy, which is detailed below. Our Cancellation and Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

How Do I Cancel An Order?
If you have placed an order but then wish to change or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try our best to make any changes but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so as the order may already have been processed. In such cases, you may have to wait until you receive the order and then follow the procedures for returns. Unfortunately goods that have been dispatched cannot be changed or redirected to an alternative address.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which came into force on 31 October 2000 provide statutory backing for the good business practices which The Bicycle Lounge already observe. The regulations allow a consumer to return any products (except custom orders) ordered by mail / phone or internet from The Bicycle Lounge Ltd within 7 working days (starting the day after delivery) for a full refund.
How Do I Return An Item?
You can return any item within 30 days of receipt for a refund of that item or to exchange it for the same item in a different size or colour, as long as you meet the following conditions.
Unless damaged or defective, we accept the return of items only if they are unopened (except in cases where the item has to be tried for fit) and in their original condition. In the case of clothing or other items which have to be tried for fit, any returns must be in their original packaging and with any labels still attached.
You must obtain The Bicycle Lounge's Returns number & form , by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org When your returns authorization has been approved you will receive full instructions by email along with a unique returns number and returns form for you to fill in.
Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 30 days or that do not comply with the returns criteria detailed above. The Bicycle Lounge does not refund any return postage fees (except if the goods are faulty or if you have received a wrong product).
What If I Received A Damaged, Defective Or Incorrect Item?
Very occasionally mistakes can be made in picking and packing your order or sometimes defective items from our suppliers slip through. In such circumstances we want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive replacement goods or a refund.
You should inspect all deliveries from us as soon as possible after receipt to ensure that the items delivered have been received in the correct quantities in your order and are not damaged or defective. You must notify us of any issues with your order within 7 days of receipt.
Who pays the postage on returned Items?
If you return something due to it being unsuitable or not fitting correctly, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us.
If you return something due to it being faulty we refund up to £15 carriage. If your return exceeds this amount please contact email@example.com and we can arrange collection for you. Please state a date and collection address (not Saturday or Sunday) where the goods can be collected from.
We recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

Please note we will only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are damaged or defective, except items that have to be tried for fit.
How quickly will The Bicycle Lounge process the return?
We aim to process all returns within 2-3 days. During peak seasons, the returns process, may take up to 5 days. Once the return has been processed, you will receive an email conformation to confirm the replacement product or refund has been completed.
